Privacy

The short version: this site collects nothing about you unless you fill in the contact form, and there is no tracking of any kind.

The contact form. If you write to me through the form, I get what you put into it — your name, your email address, a subject line, and your message. It comes to me as an email. It is not stored on the website, and there is no database of past submissions sitting here waiting to be breached. I use what you send to answer you, and for nothing else. You are not added to a mailing list, because there isn’t one.

No analytics, no tracking. There is no analytics script, no tracking pixel, no advertising or remarketing network, no session recording, and no third-party embed. The page you are reading loads nothing from anywhere except this site. Nobody is counting your visit. No cookie is set beyond what WordPress and its cache need to serve you the page.

Where it lives. The site is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd, a company established in Lithuania, on infrastructure in Singapore. It sits behind Cloudflare. Both see your IP address in the ordinary course of delivering a page, the way every site on the internet does. Neither of them is running anything here that keeps it for me.

How long I keep it. Your message lives in my mailbox for as long as the conversation is useful, and then not. If you want something you sent me deleted, ask and I’ll delete it.

Seeing it, or complaining about it. Ask me for a copy of anything I hold about you and I’ll send it. If you think I’ve mishandled your information, tell me first — and if that doesn’t settle it, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner takes complaints at oaic.gov.au.

Changes. If any of this changes, this page changes. That’s what the date is for.
